FILM SOUND

I studied music and recording at Surrey University and started work in the film industry in the sound department at the National Film School . The experience I got there helped me make a transition into the world of the freelance sound recordist in 1983. Since then I have mostly worked in TV drama and features with some great documentary work too. I have also worked as a freelance dubbing mixer and musician/composer/MD in theatre.

SOUNDSCAPE

In recent years I have been creating multitrack soundscapes mostly in collaboration with the stills photographers Liz Fleming-Williams and Ken Griffiths.

Liz and I founded  Sarn Cambria  and have been working on two main projects Gwesyn and The Monks Trod.

I have also worked with the photographer Ken Griffiths on a Patagonia exhibition. An exhibition of prints with soundscape was shown in the Turner House Gallery in Penarth.
